A special Christmas gift!
Today is a very special day for Cameron and I, we are going to a concert! I have not been to a concert since I was like 13 and that was a Brittany Spears concert haha. Hey she was the bomb at the time lol. Anyways back to the concert, well Christmas was four days ago and I was with my family opening gifts and Cameron came over with an envelope in his hand can you guess what was inside? That's right, tickets to go see The Zac Brown Band! We both love country music so we are pumped and very thankful to his parents for giving them to us. We are heading out about 2 this afternoon yay! Funny thing though on Monday of this week we were suppose to have his family's Christmas at his mom's house well I woke up in pain and very sick so I went to the doctor early that morning and found out I had strep throat..Strep really?? I was upset because I haven't had strep in close to nine years! Then Cameron text me and said Christmas was cancelled because his mom, brother and himself were throwing up with the flu. Strange right? Well I am on antibiotics still but I'm feeling better and Cameron is feeling back to normal today so we are going to Nashville! Thank you Jesus!! After I found out I was sick I had to go to work that night I'm horrible I know but I have to have money..Right before I went into work my dad called Payton and said my dad's uncle was sick and in the hospital and they weren't expecting him to make it much longer. That was a crazy day, but I made it through work, my dad's uncle was still alive, and Cameron was sleeping finally. I thought okay hopefully tomorrow will be a great day. Well the next day my mom and I went to see Payton play basketball in Newbern, she did great she scored her first three pointer!! Then we get back home I'm resting on the couch and dad called and informed us that his uncle had passed away. He was in alot of pain so now is gets to be with the Lord and out of pain. They aren't sure when the arrangements are going to be yet so I decided to go ahead and go to Nashville tonight and be back for his funeral. Death is such a hard thing to deal with, but you can't stay mad at anyone or God because dying is a part of life. We live our life to please God because he loved us enough to create us and put us on this earth and he has a plan for each and everyone of us. Please keep my family in your prayers. God bless.
